Mount Laurel, NJ (August 3, 2015) – OKI Data Americas announces that its C711 digital color printer, in conjunction with Avery® UltraDuty™ GHS Chemical Labels, has been approved for the production of Globally Harmonized System (GHS) hazardous chemical labeling applications. Output from the C711 paired with Avery UltraDuty Labels passes seawater submersion and U.S. Department of Transportation UV resistance requirements for chemical labeling when used with genuine OKI® consumables.

Japan- May 20, 2015 -OKI Data Corporation, an OKI Group company specializing in the printer business, today announced that OKI Data Corporation and Seiko Instruments Inc. ("SII" hereinafter) exchanged a memorandum to transfer the wide format printer business of Seiko I Infotech Inc. ("SIIT" hereinafter), a subsidiary of SII, to OKI Data Corporation. Both companies will pursue negotiations based on the memorandum with a view to completing the business transfer by October 1, 2015, by executing a definitive agreement.
